27-Year-Old Stockton Man Killed in Car Crash at Highway 33 Intersection

On the morning of March 22, 2022, Thomas Holdener, 27, of Stockton was killed in a two car crash at the intersection of Highway 33 and Lehman Road. California Highway Patrol Officers responded around 6:30 am to the location after reports of a collision. According to the CHP, Holdener was driving a 2003 Hyundai sedan traveling south on Interstate 5 where he then took the exit to Highway 33.  Holdener was stopped at the stop sign at the end of the offramp when a northbound 2018 Ford utility truck crashed into Holdener’s driver’s side. According to the CHP, the 63-year-old man driver of the utility truck did not stop sign at the intersection.

Sadly, Holdener was declared deceased at the scene by emergency responders. There were no injuries reported for the 63-year-old male driver. The crash is under investigation by CHP.
